Pelita Hati aims to depict educational videos showing method of producing artworks and other metal objects using the traditional metal forging technique. This metal forging technique will be crafted by Malaysia’s well known and experienced sculptor, Raja Shahriman bin Raja Aziddin. He will be the instructor and mentor in the production of these educational videos.

The importance of this project includes:

• Documenting the process of traditional metal forging techniques.
• To build, develop and guides new, young and existing artist in metal forging knowledge and techniques.
• To transfer knowledge of traditional forging techniques to future generations of sculpture artists.

The educational videos will additionally be a source of reference for researchers and academicians for the development of sculptures in Malaysia. These videos may also provide an opportunity for artists to create new works through traditional metal forging techniques and provide them income generation through the sales of their products.
